Reviews and Ratings
I was pleasantly surprised by the stylish look of the rooms until a closer inspection, they were clean and an early check-in was arranged at no extra cost, exceeding my expectations for the price paid. However, the service could use some improvement, with only a few standout employees. The location made charging phones challenging due to outdated sockets, but it was convenient for the wedding I attended. The dining experience was a highlight, with fantastic food, although there were some issues with room odor. Overall, a value-for-money stay with some minor hiccups.
I had a lovely time at the hotel, and I would definitely consider staying again. The extension leads in the room were a bit off-putting, but overall, it was a wonderful experience. However, I probably wouldn't dine there next time. The sloping ceiling with the 'mind your head' sign added a unique touch to the room.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room had everything I needed, beautifully decorated in the charity's colors, and very spacious with a bonus of a king-size bed. The staff were all cheerful, pleasant, and incredibly helpful, making my experience truly delightful. The location was excellent, offering easy access to Wakefield and a variety of local attractions, including pubs, restaurants, cafes, and lovely village walks. While the dining experience could have been better, the overall value for money was decent.
